John Cook is a senior at WHS who has a passion for music. Cook has been in choir for nine years, and he plays piano and guitar. He even writes his own music and is pursuing a record deal! Cook’s inspiration for music is Ed Sheeran.

Cook’s journey with music has been nothing short of successful. He has been contacted by two music producers and has been booked multiple gigs around town. His biggest gig was singing at a wedding in Maypearl.

Even though music plays a major role in Cook’s life, it is not the only thing he is interested in. Cook has also been in bodybuilding for two years. After Cook graduates, he plans to move to New York or LA to pursue his dreams of being an artist.
