On Thursday, the WHS Student Council announced the nominees for the 2020 Coronation court.

“We’d like to congratulate the nominees to this year’s court, as they represent the best of WHS,” Student Council co-sponsor Conrad Bates said. “We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening celebrating these students on April 8th.”

The nominees are:

Freshmen: Cora Cagle, Taylor Cavazos, Kadin Vire, Briscoe Blaylock, Jace Berry, and Judson Willett

Sophomores: Payton Acker, Brooklyn Baskin, Lillie Loose, Bill (William) Leonhardt, Jonathan Middleton, and Tucker Venable

Juniors: Ellinor Bearden, Emma Curry, Belle Winn, Silas Cage, Jake Duvall, and Clyde Melick

Seniors: McKensi Brice, Hope David, Ana Herrin, Jenna Schmidt, Monticella Woodley, Jordan Beechum, Kace Cotten, Colton Lee, Campbell Sullivan, and Alec Sullivan

The Coronation ceremony will take place on April 8th in the WHS Performing Arts Center.
