One Act Play 2015

One Act is a UIL competition play  that is forty minutes long. Each High School in the area comes with a prepared play and competes for the title of  State Champions. This year Waxahachie is bringing the play Anatomies and we’re ready to win! The substantial amount of  blood, sweat, and tears that is put into the UIL  play is beyond no human comprehension. The One Act team spends hours on end at  school, and we work anywhere from two to four months preparing  our play for competition. When you spend that amount of time together we end up being more than just a cast, we become a family. Garfield Harrison said,”After a few months everyone got so close that, in the end we didn’t really care about putting on the production we just really loved being together as a family.”.  Everyone involved with One Act this year is so excited and determined that we will make i to state this year!
