For the first time in five years, Waxahachie’s own theatre department has advanced their One Act Play to State! “Anatomies,” a story about the inner fight between good and evil, follows two serial killers, a prostitute, and two medical doctors and their journey to madness. Although the play sounds like a lot, “it’s scarily beautiful” said Junior Garfield Harrison. The team will be traveling to Austin on May 26 to spend the night and have rehearsals. Waxahachie will compete Wednesday, May 27 at 9:30 competing last out of the six schools in their district. Hopefully Waxahachie will have the chance to proove their excellence and place at State!
