On Friday August 28, my parents bought me a used truck and brought it to me while I was at work. After work, I got to drive it home and the next day I took it out again with my dad. My dad noticed that the oil pressure instrument was acting weird so he told me not to drive it again until we get it checked out just incase it would be something serious. At the moment we thought it was just a electrical problem that could be fixed with a new wire. So, my dad took it to a mechanic and I got my truck back on Tuesday and the mechanic said everything looked good; they just had to replace a wire. So, I took it to work thinking everything was fine with it and on my way there my engine locked up on the highway.. turns out there was no oil flow to the engine and now we have to buy and install a new engine.
