Ezekiel Elliott is focused and practicing with the first team while still dealing with his ongoing appeal of his six game suspension for domestic violence. Regardless of the ruling a U.S. District Court judge makes Friday, he will still be allowed to play week 1 against the Giants. The Dallas Cowboys are in jeopardy of losing their star running back due to evidence of Elliott abusing his ex-girlfriend on several occasions in 2016. If the district judge does not grant a stay of the suspension, Ezekiel will begin serving it on Monday and it’s likely he’ll look for an expedited hearing to not miss the full six games.
