If you see a junior girl walking by the theater classrooms in white, ruffled socks, black platform sandals, and a silver-chained, gummy bear necklace, you know it can be only Presley Hollingsworth.

Like most, Presley has everyday fashion staples even though her style could be described as unique.

“I wear my platform sandals a lot,” Presley said, “They go with every outfit.”

In fashion culture, different people vary opinions on “do’s and don’ts”. Presley is no exception when she comments about the Virginity Rocks sweatshirt.

“I don’t understand why everyone is obsessed with the Virginity Rocks sweatshirt,” Presley said, “I think they’re so ugly”

On the other hand, a fashion “do” Presley mentioned an old trend. The trend popped up in the mid-late 2000s to the early 2010s. The hairstyle included flat-ironed, bright colored hair with long fringes covering the forehead.

“I hope Scene hair comes back because it was a cultural reset,” Presley said.

Although, Presley didn’t always have the same style as she currently does.

“Last year I wore mom jeans every day, and I used to be a lot shyer,” Presley said.

Between last year and now, not only has Presley changed her attire but also her personality has shifted into who she is today.

“I definitely prefer my now self over who I was,” Presley said, “I have come out of my shell, and I’ve become a lot more confident with myself”
