Emma Fletcher is a junior at Waxahachie High School and has been in the WISD school district since she was in Pre-K. She plays volleyball for the Waxahachie Lady Indians.

In addition to volleyball, Fletcher has also been involved in dance from a very young age. “I have been dancing since I was three,” Fletcher said.

Fletcher does many types of dance. From ballet to jazz, she can literally do it all. Her family has a background in dance as well. Her Mom was a Cherokee Charmer here at WHS more than 15 years ago. The only reason Fletcher did not try out for Charmers is so she could focus on her volleyball career.

Fletcher has played volleyball now for five years. She started playing volleyball in seventh grade at Finley Junior High. She really enjoys the social aspect of being on the court together. She also loves how you have to work together and communicate to beat another team.
