Popular medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has decided to return with season 17. Grey’s Anatomy is about a group of young surgeons who started off as interns making their way up the be great surgeons. This show portrays a lot of romance and drama.

Due to the pandemic, the production was paused which stopped the final four episodes of season 16. However, the cast and crew are now back on set.

Ellen Pompeo, the actor who plays Merideth Grey, had originally signed on for two more seasons at the beginning of 2018. She was not planning on appearing throughout the upcoming chapter but decided to extend her contract.

“As much as the idea of something new appeals to me… the truth is, I have three kids. I don’t really want to travel and leave them. I don’t want to be a circus traveler and live in hotels. And the network and studio continue to incentivize me and just makes me offers that I can’t refuse,” Pompeo told TVLine.

Patrick Dempsey, the actor who plays Derick Shepard, also returned to the new season as well in Merideth Grey’s dream, after his character died back in season 14. With that being said, the all new season of the show can now be streamed on Hulu and ABC on Thursdays.
