Due to the recent tragedy from Hurricane Harvey, people all around Texas are coming together to help. Many first responders and people of the community are eager to help, but many may end up in the same boat if they can’t get the supplies they need.

I, personally, have heard from my grandfather, a contractor for TXU that went down to Houston to help, that he and his team were promised housing and food but are unable to access those due to the immense destruction.

“We haven’t eaten anything since Sunday morning,” Robert Abbie said.

Not only do the victims of Harvey need your support, but all of the first responders do as well.
