All over the world, people are talking about the British royal family following the events that took place during the former royals’, Harry and Meghan’s, interview with Oprah on March 7th. The royal couple expressed shocking and revealing experiences with the royal family.

Allegations of racism were brought up from within the family. Harry and Meghan attest that the family went as far as discussing how the couple’s first baby’s skin would turn out. The former duchess also went into informative detail about her mental health, and it had decreased during her first pregnancy, most of it appeared because of the family as well.

Meghan also gave a report of her treatment by the British tabloids. She said that, “This was different”, when comparing the treatment of her to the treatment of Kate in Kate’s early days in the royal family. Meghan said, “We’ve all had to deal with some things that are rude, crude, and racist, but they are not the same.”

Prince Harry also made remarks about his brother’s and father’s involvement in the family. He said that they are trapped within the monarchy.

The Queen has since released a statement saying that, “The entire family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.”

This leads the public to wonder if things are breaking down with the royals, or were they doomed from the start?
