Cadence Simpson is a junior that has been involved with the theatre department both on stage and off stage. Being in Advanced Theatre and Costume Construction, she helps bring the show to life behind the scenes, not just by acting.

“It’s cool to be able to see the show come to life,” Cadence said. “You’ll start with just a piece of fabric, and then eventually, I’ll get to see it either on me or next to me on the stage.”

When asked about her favorite show she’s worked on, Cadence said, “Definitely either Swamp Gas or Holding On. Holding On was my first high school show, and it was so exciting. On the other hand, Swamp Gas was hilarious, and the set and costumes were so funny.”

“I adore her,” Mrs. Meyers said. “She makes my day brighter.”
