Chloe Ridgeway is currently a sophomore here at Waxahachie High School. She recently joined cheerleading and is part of the junior varsity team.

“I was excited to make the cheer team to make memories with new friends,” Ridgway said.

Ridgeway has enjoyed cheering at the football games so far. Recently, she found out that the team will not be able to cheer at any basketball games because of covid this year leaving the team with a short year.

“It is sad how we will not be able to cheer at basketball because of all the hard work and practice that we have done,” Ridgeway said.

Even though Ridgeway will not be able to cheer for the rest of the year, she will still be working hard at practices preparing for next season.
