Meet Rose Alvarado, who plays as number 21 on the Lady Indians Basketball team. She wears the number 21 because that is the day her father passed away.

Her favorite thing to do in her free time is to catch up on the sleep that she misses due to practice. Her favorite sports movie is “Glory Road” because it has to do with racism and life problems.

Her favorite thing about the team this year is how well they work together, the energy. They have loads of confidence, and they are quick learners. Alvarado’s favorite thing about playing basketball is making strong bonds with her teammates, throughout the teams she has played for.
