Ag Goes To Corsicana District Meeting

Lea Wade, Staff Writer

The Corsicana District Meeting is an anticipated event for the Waxahachie FFA. All the chapters meet at this meeting to discuss important issues in our Area FFA.

“The District Meeting is a great opportunity for different chapters to meet and for every ag student to get involved,” Ag teacher Jeanette Middleton said. “This is an important meeting, specifically this year, because we are creating a new chapter and the officers are going to vote on new ag bylaws.”

This meeting is also very special because the new district officers will be conducting their very first meeting together.

“I’m excited to see my team again and to see what ideas our district offers have,” District Officer Landry Bosher said. “This meeting will take us to new levels in our FFA.”

This meeting will be a great introduction for freshman FFA members and an even better experience for seniors and their last days as a part of the FFA.
