Bridget Melton is the head JV volleyball coach and assistant varsity softball coach here at WHS. This is Coach Melton’s 32nd year coaching, and her 15th year coaching here at Waxahachie. Last year Melton traveled back and forth to Howard Junior High here in Waxahachie. This year is Coach Melton’s first-year full time at the high school and teaching partners and P.E.

“The best part about being here at WHS full time is that I can be on the campus more and not have to travel back and forth and I really enjoy my partner and P.E. class,” Melton said. “I enjoy helping young ladies achieve their goals.”

Coach Melton has learned something new every day while coaching. During coach Melton’s free time she loves to spend time with her daughter, go camping, and explore. Coach Melton Is excited for both seasons and can’t wait to experience and learn different things through her many roles here at WHS.
