The 2021 NCAA Tournament was one for the record books. There were so many equally upsetting and exciting games. There could not have been a better ending with the two number one seeds battling it out for the trophy.

After coming fresh off of a thrilling buzzer-beating win and an amazing undefeated season, Gonzaga looked to cap it all off by holding the trophy up at the end. However, Baylor had other plans.

Baylor has had around the same success this season, finishing 28-2. Their tournament run has been even better and consisted of destroying Houston in the final four 78-59.

As soon as the championship game tipped off, it was complete dominance by Baylor. They never trailed the whole game, and Gonzaga just seemed to have no answer. In the end, the world saw Baylor win their first-ever championship, and Gonzaga lose their perfect season.
