The Waxahachie Lady Indians softball team was left behind the first round of district going 5-2. The second go-around initially started March 8th, but due to teams having to quarantine, the game has been moved back and rescheduled to March 15th.

The Lady Indians start off game ended in a close call against Lake Ridge High, winning 7-8 in the last inning.

The Indians put up a hard battle against Midway High but lost 11-0, leaving two of the toughest teams behind.

The Lady Indians started the 2nd round of district already making playoffs. Indian’s district ended winning 10-5.

The playoff rounds started on Wednesday April 28th at the Texas A&M field against Bryan High school. Unfortunately Lady Indians took the loss 3-9 but ending with a good game. The next game followed that Friday, May 1st, and the lady Indians suffered a great loss of 0-13 ending the playoff rounds. However, the Lady Indians softball season was a great one, and the team is ready for the ones to come!
