The baseball team bleached their hair for playoffs.

Bleaching hair for playoffs is a team bonding tradition in baseball.

“We all decided to dye our hair as a way of bonding before playoffs.” sophomore Chase Pearrow said. “It shows we’re all in.”

The player’s hair signifies how the team comes together before the playoffs to show one another their loyalty to each other.

“It was a fun way to bond with the older guys and be part of something fun.” sophomore Drew Kahlden said. “Our hair really signifies unity. It shows how deep and connected the team is.”

The tradition has been going on for multiple years within the team.

“We all get together as a team to decide what to do.” senior Brendon Garcia said. “For the past few years we chose to bleach our hair.”

The players were happy to bond before the end of the season.

“We were able to build team chemistry right before playoffs.” sophomore Jax Robinson said. “It was really fun to bond with the seniors one more time.”

Bleached hair is special to baseball players because it’s a sign of hard work.

“The hair shows we were able to have fun after a hard season.” sophomore Copper McCarty said. “I’m proud to wear my hair blonde.”
