The Waxahachie High School One Act Play Team will be heading to their region contest on April 17th. The team won first place at the district contest and made second place at the bi-district contest.

The actors have all been working very hard on their show, Blue Stockings. Following a group of girls on their journey as the first female students at Cambridge University, they are faced with struggles as a group and as individuals.

Many students from many grades gather almost every day after school to make this beautiful story come to life and unfold as a work of art. These talented students will undoubtedly win at their region contest with their choreographed artful transitions and raw emotions. The performers will also be holding a public performance with free admission on April 8th for their students to get in some more practice before the competition.
