You might not have thought about it, but a big issue people in this generation face is the issue of artificial intelligence (AI).

AI is hurting many people in many different ways, from artists losing jobs, singers losing records, people getting put into deepfakes, predators using AI to locate their victims, hurting the environment and many many more things that AI is being used for and causing. 

AI takes up water resources and produces huge amounts of CO2, along with it taking up water and oxygen. Forests are demolished to make space for air processing plants. Animals lose their homes, and the environment around where the factories are located are vulnerable to dying off completely. 

Predators have also been facing lawsuits and even criminal charges for tracking teenage targets or animating disgusting videos. This is along with AI allowing those who should not have access to AI to pay for deepfakes of people they know.

AI also breaks a lot of copyright infringements. Sora AI recently went through a lawsuits due to people making copyrighted videos of popular TV shows, movies and characters doing and saying things without proper copyright to do so. 

AI has been taking jobs from the creative side of the world as well with taking over animation and art from artists, and an AI singers (robots) getting a record deal while the company didn’t hire a real artist. 

AI is heavily involved in our daily lives now, with many people using it to answer simple questions that a little Google searching could as well. So do you think it’s really worth it to give your time to AI when you could be supporting real people who need money to live and use their jobs to survive, or keeping creeps and predators from preying on children and their neighbors or helping to stop global warming by just not generating AI images and videos?
