Emma Perkins, Staff Writer
Hey guys! My name is Emma Perkins, and I am a senior at Waxahachie High School. I have been a part of the Media Staff and yearbook for all 4 years of high school, and I was graciously given the position of Junior editor for the yearbook last year. Sarah Barker and I are head editors for the yearbook this year, and we are so excited for this year's theme, "Forever Hachie"!
I am also a part of various other organizations: Vice President of the National Honor Society, Student Body Secretary for the Student Council, President of Interact, and Swim Captain. I love being able to lead others and help with volunteer opportunities!
Some fun facts about me are that I am an avid reader, so please don't speak to me when I have a book in my hands! (just kidding...) I am a HUGE fan of Taylor Swift. My top three are Speak Now, Folklore, and Reputation.
I'm excited for this upcoming school year!
