Trump boycotts Major League Baseball

On Friday, April 2, former President Trump called for a boycott of Major League Baseball. This happened because the league’s commissioner announced plans to move its All-star game out of Georgia due to the state’s new voting law.

Trump stated, “Baseball is already losing tremendous numbers of fans, and now they leave Atlanta with their All-star game because they are afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter I.D,” which he claimed is desperately needed.

Trump called on Americans to boycott baseball and all of the “woke companies” that are interfering with Free and fair elections, like Coke and Delta.

Rob Manfred, the commissioner of the MLB, also had something to say. He stated, “We proudly used our platform to encourage baseball fans and communities throughout our country to perform their civic duty and actively participate in the voting process. Fair access to voting continues to have our game’s unwavering support.”

Overall, people think moving the game was the best decision.
